Will say, this place overperformed. On a whim, we walked over from the hotel as a family of 6 on a Saturday night. We were delighted to sit outside where a HIGHLY entertaining live band covered all our favorite 90's songs. Didn't order much, but the tavern style pizza's and Italian beef were great! We will certainly come back! Hopefully to watch the Lions kick the snot out of the Bears this fall.

I'm a big fan of fries, so I couldn't pass up trying a few different flavors here. I ordered classic seasoned fries, garlic parmesan, and loaded cheese fries, and honestly, each one was worth it. They were all crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and generously coated with seasoning without being too salty. Every flavor had something different to offer, so it was hard to pick a favorite. The portions were generous, making them great for sharing, and they stayed hot until the last bite. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the place had a casual, welcoming vibe. If you love fries as much as I do, this spot is definitely worth checking out.

I ordered the chili cheese, Polish sausage and the chili cheese fries. The presentation is as good as it can be for this type of food and they did a nice job with keeping the menu basic and simple. The taste of the Polish dog was good. the bun was soft. It was portioned correctly. It just was very bland compared to what else you can get in Grand Rapids. The chili cheese fries also were not horrible but I wanna say they were great. It is just gas station cheese and chili from a can. Again, not horrible just nothing special. Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend this place but I also want to steer someone away either especially if you are drunk and at the bar across the street. I’m sure it tastes much better. That being said, I think it’s a perfect restaurant for its location. There is not a ton of competition directly next-door or across the street. And technically, the Bar across the street has food of a similar quality however it is a nice alternative It’s up to you. There’s much better places in town for hotdog however, I would give the spot another shot to try the Italian beef. I have heard it is not excellent, but I have not had it Personally.

Stopped in last night for dinner and it was fantastic. They have a full bar with a nice draft selection as well as a laundry list of craft cocktails. We opted for waters and Coke. Their menu has something for everyone. From Italian beef sandwiches to hot dogs, to pizza, salads, Polish sausages, shakes, malts, floats and sides. Pictured is what the 3 of us ordered. Two classic Italian beef sandwiches. One of them with mild giardiniera - dipped - and the other with sweet peppers with au ju on the side. An order of their Italian king fries with hot giardiniera. A Chicago hotdog, and an order of cheese fries. The hot giardiniera was very, very spicy yet delicious on the king fries. All in all we enjoyed our dinner last night and will be back for another order of those king fries soon! Give this place a try!

This place is fantastic. It's the best place I found in the area to get a real Chicago beef sandwich. Dipped whatever you want, different types of peppers to put on it. The french fries are unique, I really like them crispy with a seasoning they use. I was there on Wednesday night and was able to listen do the bluegrass jam night. It really seems to be a "play what you bring" evening of just hanging out and making music. I really enjoyed my time there and the food was spectacular. And they have a full bar and several great beers on tap to choose from. I highly recommend if you like the Chicago beef or the Chicago dogs.
